No one is hurt during a two-alarm fire at a home in Franklin County. The Gerald-Rosebud Fire Protection District says crews were dispatched to a first-alarm house fire on Klemme Road, just east of Gerald, around 11:45 Wednesday morning. Crews arrived to find a working house fire with heavy fire conditions. A second alarm was requested.
Eureka woman dies, House Springs man injured in Eureka crash
Sarah A. Webb, 34, of Eureka died in a crash Monday morning, July 15, in the St. Louis County portion of Eureka, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported. At 5:25 a.m., Webb was driving a 2010 Ford Focus and making a left turn from southbound Hwy. 109 onto eastbound I-44 and failed to yield to a northbound 2000 Ford F350 driven by Joseph M. McKelvey, 42, of House Springs, the report said. The Focus struck the side of the F350, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a rock bluff, and the F350 overturned off the road and came to a rest on its roof.
