ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. — St. Charles County will keep three of its libraries that were facing possible closure. In May, the St. Charles County City-County Library Board was considering the closures due to financial strain. In a statement this Thursday, President Stacia Alvarez said the Board voted in June to permanently end consideration of the initial proposal.
