    Fifty-seven local Chick-fil-A employees have been awarded the company’s Remarkable Futures Scholarship.

    “The Remarkable Futures Scholarship is a scholarship we offer each year at Chick-fil-A,” the company explained in a press release. “This year, 57 team members between our two restaurants (Chick-fil-A Wake Forest and Heritage Village) received this scholarship. They were awarded a total of $132,000.”

    The company expressed pride in the accomplishments of local student-employees.

    “These team members have worked hard to live out our core values and make a difference in the community,” the press release stated. “We are so proud of them and we are excited to help them pursue their education.”
