Hampshire College cuts 9% of its employees to save $2.7M, college says
Hampshire College, located in Amherst, is cutting 9% of its non-faculty employees as it continues to face lower-than-expected enrollment, a college spokesperson told MassLive. The college is expected to cut 29 positions and save $2.7 million annually, though the school continues to see growth with increasing enrollment, the spokesperson said in a statement.
