Last month, I once again had the privilege of joining thousands of Alzheimer's advocates in Washington D.C., marking my 14th year attending this impactful event. Each time, I am reminded of the incredible power of collective advocacy in effecting positive change.

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Senator Wyden's dedicated staff for their time and attention during our meeting. Their commitment to understanding the challenges faced by those affected by dementia is truly commendable. I am also grateful to Senator Wyden for his unwavering support over the decades on behalf of individuals with dementia and their loved ones.

As we continue to push for progress in the fight against Alzheimer's and dementia, I urge Senator Wyden to support the Fiscal Year 2025 ask of $318 million in additional research funding. This investment is crucial in advancing our understanding of these diseases and moving us closer to more effective treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
