Grant & Danny: Which Commanders players are being overlooked?

As week two of OTAs get underway, Grant and Danny spent part of Monday’s show discussing which members of the Commanders roster are being overlooked as the season approaches.

The first player named was Andrew Wylie, who came from Kansas City before last season as a former lineman for Eric Bieniemy. But Grant and Danny both believe that, while Wylie could improve, his ceiling his likely still not high enough to make him a productive lineman and pass protector for a rookie quarterback in Jayden Daniels.

So, who would be Grant and Danny’s most overlooked Commander? Danny stuck with the offensive line in center Tyler Biadasz, who Washington signed in March, while Grant went with Darrick Forrest, who was limited to just five games last season after being productive in 17 games in 2022. Grant sees him as a bounceback candidate to help the secondary in 2024.
