    Two men hurt after verbal altercation on Metrobus in Southeast DC

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) said two men were injured after being involved in a verbal altercation on board a Metrobus in Southeast D.C.

    WMATA said that at about 12:30 p.m., two men started arguing on a Route 90 bus near 8 th and E Streets.

    During the altercation, one of the suspects hit the other in the head with a blunt object.

    The man who was hit with the blunt object then pulled out a knife and stabbed the initial suspect in the torso.

    Both men had non-life-threatening injuries.

    They have been arrested by police and taken to the hospital.
