    Police identify man killed in triple shooting in Northwest DC

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said it has identified the man killed in the Northwest D.C. shooting.

    Police said that at about 9:30 p.m., they responded to the 600 block of O Street for the report of a shooting.

    When officers arrived at the scene, they found two men who had been shot.

    The men were transported to the hospital where one later died.

    The second man is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. A third man self-transported to the hospital where he is also being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

    MPD identified the man who died as 34-year-old Deangelo Jones of Northwest.

    Anyone with information should call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.

    MPD currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
