Nebraska lakes with high levels of E. coli bacteria during July 1 testing
OMAHA, Neb. — With the city of Blair under a boil advisory after water tested positive for E. coli, Nebraska is monitoring lakes for the bacteria. The state's Department of Environment and Energy said 10 lakes had high levels of the bacteria during July 1 testing, including Fremont Lake No. 9, Louisville Lake No. 2, and site No. 11 at Lake Cunningham.
FBI Omaha finds unidentified man sought in child exploitation case
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The FBI said Friday that they had identified the man they were looking for in connection with a child sex exploitation case. Putting out a news bulletin on June 26, FBI Omaha had been looking for a man they called “John Doe 48,” who they believed had information about the identity of “a child victim in an ongoing sexual exploitation case.”
