Watertown Swim Lessons start July 8

The City of Watertown Parks and Recreation Department will have a Swim Lessons Program at both the Thompson Park Pool and Flynn Pool.

Program rates are $20 per child for Watertown residents and Military, for Non-City residents the rate is $40 per child.

Session 1 at the Thompson Park Pool from 10:45 to 11:30 a.m.:

• Week 1 — July 8 to 12;
• Week 2 — July 15 to 19; and
• Week 3 — July 22 to 26.

Session 2 at the Flynn Pool from 10:15 to 11 a.m.:

• Week 1 — July 29 to August 2; and
• Week 2 — August 5 to 9.

Level Descriptions:

Level 1A (Introductory):

• No previous experience
• Introduction to water skills

Level 1B (Beginner):

• Minimal experience
• Learning fundamental skills

Level 2 (Intermediate):

• Skills performed with assistance.
• Building on and improving learned skills

Level 3 (Experienced):

• Skills performed unassisted.
• Increasing proficiency of learned skills
