Watertown Fire Rescue put out fire on Tuesday evening

Watertown Fire Rescue was dispatched on Tuesday night to a couch on fire near the shore of Lake Pelican and 21st Street, according to a release.

At 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, the Watertown Fire Rescue brought a brush truck and engine to a fire. The fire was quickly extinguished with the brush truck, the release said. Firefighters were on scene for about 15 minutes.

WPD is investigating the cause of the fire. There were no injuries or losses reported from the fire.
