    Dolphin swimmers produce 110 first-place finishes at the Prairie Lakes Wellness Center

    Forty-one Watertown Area Swim Club swimmers combined to produce 110 first-place finishes over the weekend in the 2024 Too Cool for the Outdoor Pool swim meet in the Prairie Lakes Wellness Center.

    The meet is the only home meet of the long-course season for the Dolphins.

    Collins DeBoer (9-10 girls), Cynthia Makens (11-12 girls) and Parker Hoftiezer (15-16 boys) each won seven races for the WASC. Madelynne Storm (17-and-over girls) won six; Leila Beyer (15-16 girls). Justine Kranz (13-14 girls) Cayden Feininger (9-10 boys) and Thomas Bass (13-14 boys) each five; and Owen Hoots (7-8 boys), Lee Kreutner (7-8 boys) and Ross Ritter (17-and-over boys) four apiece.

    Three-event winners included Kyleigh Hansen (17-and-over girls), Roslyn Waite (15-16 girls), Channing DeBoer (11-12 boys), Flynn Erickson (U6 boys), Haydn McGillivary (17-and-over boys) and Jonah Thorson (U6 boys).

    Other girls division event winners for the WASC included Charlei Ahmann (7-8), Lucy Barthel (7-8), Campbell DeBoer (7-8), Amelia Holien (7-8), Evangeline Jay (U6), Grace Kleinsasser (9-10), Lydia Kleinsasser (13-14), Charlie Laskowske (9-10), Vivian Mathison (9-10), Sara Peterson (17-and-over), Jade Smith (15-16), Rylie Stangl (13-14), Sophia Thompson (17-and-over) and Josephine Waite (13-14).

    Other boys division winners for the Dolphins were Kuper Brownlee (17-andpover), Fernando Enriguez Arellano (9-10), Paul Feist (15-16), Jason Kasparek (15-16), Kegan Kasparek (9-10), Archer Mathiason (11-12), Ryan James Matthies (13-14), Jayden Nerdig (11-12), McKoy Pereboom (13-14) and Kaden Zink (17-and-over).
