Parkersburg Homecoming announces volunteer awards
PARKERSBURG — The Parkersburg Homecoming has announced its volunteer awards and the grand marshal for the annual parade in August. Cathy Buttermore of Buttermore Jewelers received the George Kellenberger Volunteer of the Year that recognizes service to the community and the Homecoming Festival. The Buttermore family has been a Parkersburg jewelry business for 95 years, but Cathy Buttermore has decided to retire and close the doors of the jewelry store.
