2 drug trafficking rings operating in West Virginia ‘dismantled’
Two drug trafficking organizations that operate in West Virginia, one of which has ties to the Sinaloa Drug Cartel, were "dismantled" after a federal grand jury returned 25 indictments, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of West Virginia (USAO) announced Tuesday.

PARKERSBURG — A new group of nursing students have made a commitment to WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center as they work to become nurses. A signing ceremony was held at the hospital Monday for the next group of students accepted into the WVU Medicine Aspiring Nurse Program. The program gives financial assistance to the students in exchange for an employment commitment at the hospital after they graduate, working in the nursing field.
Harmar Days Festival continues to grow annually
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - This weekend, the annual Harmar Days Festival was held as they continue to raise funding for the historic Harmar Bridge. The festival is reported to have raised around $23,000 excluding the raffle which raised an additional $20,000. This money will go towards the historic Harmar Bridge.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The northern lights were visible for parts of central Ohio early Wednesday morning. The Space Weather Prediction Center expected a solar storm Tuesday evening that could result in a K5 to K7 level Aurora. These weren't be as bright or as widely visible as what we saw a few months ago but the lights were visible as far south as northern Ohio.
