    Dare County searching for suspects in breaking and entering at storage facility

    DARE COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) — Dare County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in breaking and entering investigation that occurred on Aug. 8, deputies said.

    Between 11 a.m. and noon, two unidentified individuals unlawfully entered a storage unit at Dare Storage, located off NC Hwy 345 in Skyco. The suspects removed several high-value items estimated around $10,000. The stolen items include a box of life jackets, various lights, an ACR Personal Locator Beacon, an EPIRB Location Device, two Talica 25 rods, two Talica 50 rods, GoPro 10 cameras with headsets and cleaning supplies.
