FAIRMONT, W.Va. (WBOY) — A Tennessee man was indicted Wednesday on federal drug charges stemming from a traffic stop that turned into a pursuit in Fairmont, West Virginia.

Kenneth Frye, 51, of Kingsport, Tennessee, was charged with possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of West Virginia (USAO).

After officers with the Fairmont Police Department caught Frye while he was attempting to flee the stop, they found “a large amount” of methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl in his possession, the release said.
