CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The scariest thing at The Joe this weekend won’t be the sound of a foul ball hitting your windshield.

Charleston RiverDogs and Southern Screams are partnering to turn Joe Riley Stadium into a haunted house during Saturday’s game – one they say will make the ‘Addams Family’ jealous.

It’s a special howl-o-ween edition – in May! Players will wear special edition spooky jerseys that will be auctioned online, and fans are encouraged to dress up in a Halloween costume for a chance to win a free jersey.

Special treats will include Pumpkin Pecan Ice Cream at Scoops, Ghost Dog at Dog House & DogWorld, Bloody Mary Punch with gummy candy eyeballs at Spirit bars, and Halloween candy available at all concession stands while supplies last.

Saturday’s game against the Down East Wood Ducks begins at 6:05 p.m. Grab your tickets online before they vanish.

Southern Screams has operated haunted attractions in the tri-county for the past few years, setting up the Ashley Acres Asylum at Holy City Brewing last fall.
