    Findlay cleans up after damage from Thursday storm

    FINDLAY, Ill. (WCIA) — The small village of Findlay is cleaning up its storm damage after several tornadoes and thunderstorms travelled through Central Illinois.

    Police officers wrote on the department’s Facebook page for motorists to be careful as clean up crews are picking up debris.

    A worker at Okaw Valley Middle School confirmed the storm damaged some of the school building. Class was still in session for OVMS students Friday, and police warned parents to be extra cautious when dropping off children.

    The Okaw Valley School District announced on their Facebook page the Friday high school softball game has been cancelled due to the “spring deluge” and baseball will host a game instead.
