DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Days after resigning, a former city official from Clermont County has been charged.

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost reports Michael Doss, former city manager of Milford, was charged on Aug. 12 in Montgomery County with one count of importuning.

According to Yost, an undercover investigation reportedly found Doss had tried to pay for sex from someone who he thought was a 15-year-old girl.

On Thursday, Aug. 8, the city of Milford notified the public that Doss resigned “for personal reasons.” Yost claims Doss’ resignation was prompted after being confronted on the allegations.

More charges “are anticipated,” according to Yost.
