Heavy police presence expected Thursday in Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Drivers traveling around Montgomery County will likely see a large presence of law enforcement on Thursday.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a joint traffic enforcement detail will occur Thursday, Aug. 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

During enforcement, drivers should expect to see a large presence of authorities from OSP, Dayton Police and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office on I-75 and State Route 48.

Thursday’s enforcement will be aimed at lowering crashes and crimes on the roadways.
