    Body of missing swimmer recovered from Madison Lakes

    TROTWOOD, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Authorities have confirmed the body of the man who went missing Saturday in Madison Lakes has been recovered.

    The man was identified as 19-year-old Luis Fernando Montes Padilla Hondureno.

    2 NEWS spoke with some of Hondureno’s friends before the announcement was made who said they and his family are devastated.

    The Trotwood Fire Department conducted searches for three days, concluding Monday afternoon. Ralph Bowman with Trotwood Fire and Rescue says the man was swimming with his friends when he disappeared.

    “I don’t know how to stress it enough, do not swim in Madison Lakes,” said Bowman.
