Cat stuck in tree falls off a height of 70 feet in Webster, survives, and flees right after

On Saturday, Webster Animal Control received a call reporting a feline stuck in a tree. According to the Facebook post , he had been there for about a week and was finally discovered by a woman living in the community. She shared the kitty’s predicament in local Facebook groups, and Kent Tree and Landscape commented they are just a call away and would love to help.

The feline finally jumped off the tree with the joint effort of Webster Animal Control, Kent Tree and Landscape, Webster Fire / Rescue Massachusetts, and the Webster Police K9 Unit. The Webster Police Department Massachusetts took to Facebook to post a video of the rescue mission. In the caption, they noted that the cat survived the nearly 70-foot fall thanks to the fantastic teamwork of the crews present at the scene.

The rescue mission wasn’t easy, as the kitty got spooked by the rescuers and climbed even higher. Moreover, it jumped from one tree to another after reaching the top of the first one he was stuck in. It took the authorities four hours to finally save him. Unfortunately, the feline escaped the scene right after his safe landing. So, he couldn’t be reunited with his family immediately.

Webster Animal Control was especially grateful for Kent Tree and Landscape’s help. The company is based in Holden, and they came all the way to Webster to help save the cat. Moreover, they emphasized that it would be free of charge, as all they wanted to do was help the feline. According to the Boston Globe , Mr. Storm, the cat, has happily reunited with his humans and is safe and sound.
