HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office and Duke Energy will present a live power line demonstration at the Gibson County Fairgrounds on May 18 to benefit the sheriff’s office K9 program.

Officials say the live power line demonstration will inform local emergency service personnel and the community on the dangers of live power lines. The event will also feature a demonstration of the capabilities of the K9 program in Gibson County.

Food will be available for purchase at $10 a plate, and will include pork chops, potatoes, green beans and a roll. Live music will also be provided by DC & The Drifters.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., professional vehicles will be on display for the public to “Touch the Truck”.
