HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – Warrick County School administrators are going out of their way to ensure a safe evening for prom Saturday night at Castle High School.

Officials state an uncorroborated threat was anonymously reported to the P3 reporting system where the Warrick County School Corporation and the Warrick County Sheriff’s Department have not deemed the threat credible.

Due to this, metal detectors will be used and bags will be searched upon entry, and students will need to be prepared for both. Officials also state there will a greater security and officer presence.

School officials say they are grateful to those who brought the threat to their attention and reminds others to if they see something, say something.
