First IN Football Coaches Association poll results of the 2024 season

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Indiana Football Coaches Association (IFCA) released the 2024 Pre-Season IFCA High School Poll from week 1.

Six teams are from the Southern Indiana Athletic Conference. Four are from the Pocket Athletic Conference. One from the Patoka Lake Conference.

Here are the standings in the Evansville area:

• 4a
  • Evansville Reitz – 3rd
  • Jasper – 22nd – tied
• 3a
  • Heritage Hills – 1st (six first-place votes)
  • Gibson Southern – 2nd (three first-place votes)
  • Evansville Memorial – 3rd – tied
  • Evansville Mater Dei – 11th – tied
  • Southridge – 15th – tied
  • Vincennes Lincoln – 19th – tied
• 2a
  • North Posey – 3rd (one first-place vote)
• 1a
  • Perry Central – 18th

Officials say there are no 6A teams in southwestern Indiana. All results can be seen below.
