HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – The trial for an Evansville man charged with murder in the death of Evansville firefighter Robert Doerr has been pushed back again.

Larry Richmond Sr. was supposed to go to trial in November but that has been pushed to May 15, 2025.

This is the latest in a series of continuations by the defense. Court records show this is the third time the trial has been pushed back.

Richmond Sr. is accused of gunning down Doerr in his driveway back in 2019. Doerr’s widow, Elizabeth Fox-Doerr was sentenced to 90 years for her role in the murder.
