    Daviess County Coroner identifies man found dead in Owensboro

    HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Daviess County Coroner’s Office has released the name of a man who was found dead in the area of East 4th Street and Center Street.

    According to the coroner’s office, the deceased was identified as 34-year-old Cain Amos. The results of an autopsy are still pending, but authorities say they have no evidence of foul play.

    Detectives say they are piecing together Amos’ activities before being found. Anyone with information of his whereabouts from 6 p.m. on September 2 to 7:30 a.m. on September 3 should contact the Owensboro Police Department or leave an anonymous tip at CrimeStoppers at 270-687-8484.
