    WSNC announces Honorary Grand Marshall of Fall Festival parade

    HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- The West Side Nut Club Fall Festival is only a month away and each year, a Grand Marshall is selected for the Saturday Parade.

    Evansville leaders address concerns during Traveling City Hall

    Previous Honorary Grand Marshals have included Gold Medal Olympians, professional athletes, hall of fame recipients, and other high-profile individuals with ties to Evansville. Today, the West Side Nut Club announces that the 2024 Grand Marshal will be two-time Indianapolis 500 Champion, Al Unser Jr. who spends a lot of time in Evansville with his wife Norma.

    The parade is set for 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 12 and Al Unser Jr. will set the pace as the first car down West Franklin Street. He will be followed in the parade by local organizations, non-profit groups, winner of the week’s festivities and the West Side Nut Club Gresie Boys.
