Listen to live music by InTandem, consisting of Brenda Owens and Lee Mensinger, on June 29 from 11 a.m. to -2 p.m. at Welch Station Access on the Cannon Valley Trail. This duo performs a variety of folk, blues and Americana standards with vocal harmonies on guitars, mandolin, banjo and ukulele. InTandem has appeared many times at Welch Station and at farmers’ markets and other venues around the area. Minnesota National Guard will provide security at Republican National Convention
ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO/KNOX) – Governor Tim Walz has authorized the Minnesota National Guard to provide public safety support for the 2024 Republican National Convention. The convention will be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from July 15 through July 18. It’s been designated as a national special security event by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security due to the scale of security operations required.
