30 YEAR SENTENCE FOR SHOOTING DEATH IN DEL HAVEN
A man found guilty in a shooting death was given 30 years in jail on Friday. Frederick Gene Marr (75) was sentenced to 30 years in New Jersey State Prison for the August 11, 2010 shooting death of 50 year old Ronald Denny Sr. Denny was found shot and killed in the driveway of his 10th Street home in the Del Haven section of Middle Township. On September 30, 2014, as the result of a jury trial, Marr was found guilty on the following four counts; Murder, a first degree crime; Unlawful Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, a second degree crime; Unlawful Possession of Weapon/Handgun, a second degree crime; and Hindering Prosecution, a third degree crime.
