Road closures expected in West Jordan as UDOT conducts I-15 work

WEST JORDAN, Utah ( ABC4 ) — Road closures are expected for tonight and next week while the Utah Dept. of Transportation conducts work on I-15.

According to UDOT, 9000 South at I-15 is set to close Friday night, July 26, for asphalt repairs.

“Crews are set to begin repairing asphalt on the east side of I-15 overnight,” West Jordan City Hall posted on social media . “Expect lane closures and traffic shifts on eastbound 9000 South and the I-15 off-ramp to 9000 South. Plan for delays and sudden stops.”

Additionally, from Sunday, July 29, to August 3, overnight lane closures will be happening on 9000 South at 1300 West for storm drain installations.

“Watch for lane shifts and flagging operations. Drivers are encouraged to use alternative routes when possible.”
