The Miami-Dade County Public Housing and Community Development (PHCD) has opened applications for the Dream Homes Lottery. This initiative offers aspiring homeowners a chance to purchase one of two available homes located at 15300 SW 296 Street, Miami, FL 33033. Each home features 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, with sizes of 1,813 square feet and 1,777 square feet, respectively. The application period runs from July 24 to August 7, 2024.

A new waterfront restaurant plans to make waves in Miami this summer, and this time its founder is a longtime restaurant veteran. Yaya Coastal Cuisine, a new waterfront restaurant serving coastal Mediterranean cuisine, is set to open on August 14 in North Miami by the founder of the former Korean hotspot Drunken Dragon, which closed just before the new year.

Past the Circle is a very wide Westward Drive with the massive Arabian Nights Night Club on the left and the Everglades Construction Company on the right. The Arabian Nights Night Club was one of the largest in South Florida and was destroyed in the Great Miami Hurricane of Sept 1926. The Everglades Construction building became the Miami Springs City Hall at 201 Westward Dr.. The building was demolished in 1964 and replaced with the current City Hall.

Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava spearheaded the new "I AM MIA" customer service initiative at Miami International Airport, aiming to refine the skills of the airport's colossal workforce.
