1 killed, 4 critically injured in West Side crash, Chicago police say
One person is dead and three others are seriously hurt after a crash on Chicago's West Side early Saturday.Police said the driver of a Dodge Durango was heading westbound at around 2:10 a.m. on Lake near Kildare when he collided with a sedan.ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. North Riverside, IL β North Riverside Police have charged Jakari M. Norwood, 24, of Chicago with armed robbery and possession of a stolen vehicle. According to police, Norwood allegedly robbed a Chick-Fil-A employee at gunpoint on April 11 at 7201 W. Cermak Road. After the incident, Norwood led police on a high-speed chase in a stolen vehicle before escaping. He was arrested Monday in Chicago with the help of the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force.

An Indiana man has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for gun trafficking charges, federal authorities said Thursday.Devante T. Brown, 29, of Indianapolis was charged with trafficking at least 15 illegal handguns, semiautomatic rifles and "ghost guns" after he made multiple sales to undercover officers in the city and south suburbs.ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. Cicero Man Arrested Near Utica on Heroin/Fentanyl Charges
A suburban man was arrested Thursday by agents from the TRI-county Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team, or TRIDENT. Twenty-nine-year-old Alexander Bryant of Cicero was taken into custody north of Utica. Agents say he'd delivered a mixture of heroin and fentanyl to undercover agents multiple times. TRIDENT says that on one occasion Bryant delivered 48 bags containing 31 grams of the drug mixture. On Thursday, he allegedly delivered agents 56 bags containing 35 grams of the mixture.
