BIG FLATS, N.Y. ( WETM ) — While Chemung County Investigator Michael Theetge recovers in a rehab center in Rochester, the community continues to hold fundraisers for him. This weekend, on Sunday, April 14, Tag’s Restaurant in Big Flats is hosting a breakfast buffet to help Theetge’s family.

James Rhodes owner of Tag’s Restaurant says that the restaurant has ordered a lot of food for service and is hoping for a large turnout to support Investigator Theetge and his family.

“Our hearts go out to him and his family and also to support local law enforcement, which does a great job in our area. It’s $15 a person, 100% of the proceeds go to their cause, and it’s a traditional breakfast, pancakes, sausage, etc., etc.”

The buffet is open for anybody to come and will be held in the banquet room. No reservations are required, and the money raised will go towards offsetting Investigator Theetge’s medical expenses.
