Animal Care Sanctuary hosting fundraiser tournament & auction to benefit shelter

ENDWELL, N.Y. ( WETM ) – Animal Care Sanctuary is hosting two fundraiser events in the coming week to raise money for the shelter.

On Thursday, Sept. 12, the shelter will host its 10th annual FORE the Love of Pets golf tournament at Endwell Greens Golf Club. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., with a shotgun start to the tournament at 10 a.m. The tournament will feature contests, food, chances to win prizes and more. For those who can’t attend the golf tournament, the shelter is hosting an online silent auction that will be live from Sept. 3 through Sept. 12 at 4 p.m. The auction features a variety of items that are up for bid, including sports memorabilia, art pieces, tickets to different events and more. All proceeds generated from the fundraisers will benefit Animal Care Sanctuary, an animal shelter that is based in East Smithfield, Pennsylvania.
