Montgomery police seeking location of man wanted for SORNA violation
The Montgomery Police Department is seeking a man for allegedly violating the Sex Offender Registration Notification Act or SORNA. According to Central Alabama CrimeStoppers, the suspect has been identified as John Sides, 54. He is described as a white male standing at 5’3” in height and weighing approximately 145 pounds.

Two Lowndes County teens charged in Montgomery slaying
Two Lowndes County teenagers have been charged with capital murder in connection with a Thursday shooting in Montgomery. The two 16-year-olds are charged in the death of 21-year-old Hector Bamaca Yoc of Montgomery, said Sgt. Ernestina McGriff, a spokeswoman for the Montgomery Police Department. They were taken into custody Sunday by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office and placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility under no bond.
