    WATCH: Twin waterspouts spotted off coast of Florida

    TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A pair of waterspouts were seen off the coast of Florida on Thursday afternoon.

    Video provided by the Palm Beach Police Department shows the daunting twisters swirling off of West Palm Beach as thunderstorms hit the area.

    “Sometimes we are fortunate enough to see interesting weather from a safe distance,” the department said.

    The waterspouts slowly drew closer together as the video went on.

    On Thursday, the National Weather Service of Tampa Bay issued several marine warnings and flood advisories due to the heavy rainfall in the area.
