    Florida woman wins $1 million lottery prize

    PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WFLA) — The Florida Lottery announced a new winner from one of its biggest games Tuesday.

    According to the lottery, Josephine Galarza, 36, of Panama City, won a $1 million prize from the $1,000,000 A Year For Life Spectacular scratch-off game.

    The Panama City resident purchased her ticket from the Speedway Food Mart at 3000 West Highway 98. The shop will get a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the ticket.

    As for Galarza, she chose to take home her prize as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.

    The $50 scratch-off game has one remaining top prize of $1 million a year for life and 90 remaining prizes of $1 million, according to the Florida Lottery.
