FNF Week 1: Archbishop Rummel outlasts Lafayette Christian Academy 42-35

NEW ORLEANS, La. ( WGNO ) – Archbishop Rummel was the second team to move its game to the Caesars Superdome due to inclement weather, and the Raiders hosted a team whose season ended in the dome last season: Lafayette Christian Academy.

The Knights lost the Division II Select State Championship to St. Thomas More in 2023, and Rummel gave LCA memories of its state title loss: beating the Knights 42-35.

Rummel will travel to the U-High Cubs in week two.
