Water is gushing down the street. Here’s who you call.
This is the scene that greeted me on Tuesday as I was walking up Davenport Street from Broad Branch Road. It had been rainy, but the amount of water flowing down Davenport was excessive. My first thought was that I would find that a fire hydrant just beyond the curve had burst. Instead, I found water gushing out of the drain below the hydrant.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Start Your Onions!
Trinity Logistics, Boise Office Longboard Logistics, LLC. The much-anticipated Northwest onion season has arrived. And guess what? The fires have too. This week has been a flurry of activity as we notify carriers to start looking for loads out of Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. And believe it or not, it seems to be working. We’re being asked for loads before we even have them in hand. This is a good thing because if we don’t have something, someone else will. By getting more trucks interested in the Northwest, we’re directing traffic better than a bored cop at a high school football game. The more trucks we have, the easier it will be for sheds to get their loads off the floor at a good rate. If we don’t spread the word early, trucks might just stick to their old lanes like a worn-out favorite pair of jeans.
