    2024 Broome County Fair returns to Whitney Point: What you need to know

    Who doesn't love the smell of funnel cake, buckets of fries, fresh lemonade, corn dogs and all the great things that only come together at a county fair?

    The Broome County Fair runs through Sunday, July 28 and has a schedule filled with various fun and interactive activities. Tickets are available online at broomecountyfairny.com and in person (cash only).

    Parking is free on a first-come, first-served basis at the fairgrounds, alternative parking locations are Whitney Point Tioughnioga Riverside Academy and Whitney Point High School.

    Here is remaining schedule for Broome County Fair 2024:

    Thursday, July 25

    • 9 a.m., livestock showings begin
    • 12 p.m., food and vendors open and Flying Wallendas Show
    • 3 p.m., rides open to general public
    • 3-9 p.m., pay-one-price rides begin
    • 6 p.m., Out of Field Tractor Pull & East Coast Pro Wrestling (free events)
    • 7 p.m., Flying Wallendas Show

    Friday, July 26: Free admission until 12 p.m.

    • 9 a.m., livestock showings and open dairy show
    • 12 p.m., food and vendors open
    • 1 p.m., rides open
    • 2, 5 and 7:30 p.m., Flying Wallendas Show
    • 7 p.m., Rodeo by Broken B
    • 2-9 p.m., pay-one-price rides

    Saturday, July 27

    • 9:30 a.m., Rabbit & Cavy Show
    • 12 p.m., food, vendors and rides open
    • 12 p.m., Semi-Truck Pride and Polish (free event)
    • 1:30 p.m., Semi Truck Pulls (free event)
    • 5 p.m., Livestock & Pie auction
    • 7 p.m., Super Stock and Modified Tractor Pulls
    • 5, 7:30 p.m., Flying Wallendas Show

    Sunday, July 28: Free admission after 5 p.m.

    • 12 p.m., food, vendors and rides open
    • 2 p.m., Demo Derby
    • 3 p.m., Flying Wallendas Show
    • 12-7 p.m., pay-one-price rides
    • 7 p.m., rides close
    • 9 p.m., fair shuts down

    Broome County Fair ticket information

    • General day pass for ages 13 and up: $8
    • Youth day pass for ages 5-12: $2
    • Free admission for children under 5

    Midway rides tickets and wristbands purchases occur on site, cash only.

    Demo Derby (Wednesday and Sunday)

    • General ticket for ages 13 and up: $7
    • Youth ticket for ages 5-12: $3

    Rodeo (Friday)

    • General ticket for ages 13 and up: $10
    • Youth ticket for ages 5-12: $5

    Super Stock/Modified Tractor Pulls (Saturday)
