    Two arrested, bonds set at $1.5 million for drug trafficking

    MADISON COUNTY, Ala. ( WHNT ) — The Madison County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people for drug trafficking Tuesday.

    The Madison County Sheriff’s Office said detectives with the Street Crimes division arrested James Lewis Johnson and Penny Sue Thompson on Scott Road and Ready Section Road Tuesday night.

    Jury finds Frederic Rogers guilty of multiple charges in ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ case

    During the arrest, detectives found the man had Fentanyl in his possession and the female had Oxycodone in her possession.

    The man and woman were transported to the Madison County Jail each with a bond of $1.5 million.
