We had a few sprinkles and some cloud cover today as a cold front moved across Iowa, giving us slightly cooler temperatures than what we saw yesterday.

Friday brings partly cloudy skies and comfortable temperatures. The northeastern part of the state may see a few showers.

You might need a jacket or sweatshirt by the end of your Friday night football game as we get a small taste of fall to start the weekend. Temperatures warm from Saturday into Sunday.

If you’re headed to Iowa City, expect a nearly perfect day for football. Weather will not be a factor on the field.
