    UPDATED: Things to do in Wichita Falls this weekend, July 4-7

    Thursday is the BIG holiday of the summer in the U.S. of A., and plenty of activities are planned in the Wichita Falls area.

    Beware: The temperature Thursday could hit 105 with relatively high humidity. After that, things slow way, way down for the remainder of the weekend.

    Fourth in the Falls Freedom Fest : 5 p.m. MPEC Festival Park, 1000 Fifth St. Food trucks, vendors, bands and music, kids activities and more, including a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. Free entry. Summer Olympian Taliyah Brooks will speak on the main stage at 7:45 p.m.

    7 Brew Day : The coffee company will offer a buy one, get one free drink promotion from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Wichita Falls location is at 2730 Southwest Parkway. The company is celebrating an ongoing partnership with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and will donate $25,000 to CMNH. And 7 Brew teams will drop off drinks at local CMNH's to thank them.
