    Crash temporarily stopped traffic on I-35

    Update: The Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) has released the information regarding the crash for the I-35 crash Wednesday evening.

    According to the KHP crash log , a 45-year-old Wichita man was driving a Suzuki motorcycle southbound on I-35 near mile marker 102 in Chase County. The driver left the roadway, hit a guardrail and was ejected off of the motorcycle. He was taken to a Wichita hospital with suspected serious injuries.

    Update 6:09 p.m.: According to Kandrive.gov , boht direction of traffic on I-35 have reopened.

    LYON COUNTY ( KSNT ) – The turnpike in Lyon County is shut down in both directions Wednesday due to a crash.

    An alert through kandrive.gov shows I-35 between mile marker 101 and 103 is closed on July 24 north of the exit for Cassoday. The crash has resulted in traffic becoming backed up on the highway.
