WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Two men are facing homicide charges after police say they participated in a stabbing that killed a man in Wilkes-Barre back in May.

The Wilkes-Barre Police Department has charged Justice Flenory, 23, and Jaime Knights, 63, both of Wilkes-Barre, with criminal homicide and criminal conspiracy after a stabbing left 33-year-old Scott Knox dead .

Court documents state on May 7, Flenory and Knox were driving together and went to an alley near the Mofon Lounge to meet Knights and three other men around 3:30 a.m. Police say Knox was confronted by the five men about a drug deal and they began to assault him.

Knox was taken to Geisinger Wyoming Valley for his injuries but was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Warrants for Flenory and Knights have been issued. As of Friday, July 26, they have not been arrested.
