    Pet care services rebranding

    Woofie's of Leland is expanding and is rebranding as Woofie’s of Greater Wilmington to serve all of Brunswick County and its five islands with premium mobile pet care services. The owner, Lisa Miller, was a loyal Woofie’s client in Virginia for 15 years before starting her own franchise in Leland in 2022.

    New streaming local radio station serving Brunswick County

    The Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony on June 20 for Cape Fear Radio, a new streaming local radio station focused exclusively on the communities of Southport, Oak Island, Caswell Beach, St. James, Boiling Spring Lakes and Bald Head Island.     Bullzeye Gellyball opens in Brunswick County

    The North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Bullzeye Gellyball. Gellyball is a low impact sport for ages 5 and up. Gellyballs are a biodegradable, non-toxic, non-staining water hydrated orb, that upon impact disintegrates and leaves no mess, no clean up, and no bruising.     New animal hospital opens in Leland
