    'Go play:' Attend Fourth of July light show in Wilsonville

    Fourth of July in Wilsonville

    The city of Wilsonville is holding a laser light show and concert at 8 p.m. Thursday, July 4 at Town Center Park. The light show is slated to begin at 9:45 p.m.

    West Linn market

    Summer is almost here, and with it the West Linn Summer Street Market.

    The Wednesdays in Willamette Summer Street Market is put on by Historic Willamette Main Street and takes place each Wednesday afternoon on Willamette Falls Drive between 12th Street and 15th Street. The market lasts from 4-8 p.m.

    The market boasts goods like handmade crafts, jewelry, distilled spirits, wine, fresh flowers and baked goods. Later in the summer, local farmers will also be on hand to sell their produce.

    Lake Oswego market

    The Lake Oswego Farmers’ Market will continue from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29 at Millennium Plaza Park. The event will include vendors selling fresh produce, hot food, artisanal goods and more. There also will be music.

    Comedy at Lake Oswego library

    The musical comedy “Life is a Cabaret” will be performed from 2-3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29 at the Lake Oswego Library. The show includes 12 songs in American and Czech and describe the life of creators Mark and Helena.

    Arts council exhibit

    The Arts Council of Lake Oswego’s new exhibit, “Line in the Cloud,” which includes photography by artist Akihiko Miyoshi, will run through Aug. 2.

    Bootlegger’s Ball

    The Oswego Heritage Council will take attendees back to the Roaring ‘20s for the Bootlegger’s Ball from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, June 29 at the Oswego Heritage House in Lake Oswego. The event will include jazz music, food, a burlesque show and more.

    Korean War remembrance

    The city of Lake Oswego will host a Korean War Remembrance Ceremony and introduce the new Korean War interpretive center at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 29 at the Town Center Park. A dozen Korean War veterans or their family representative will receive the Korean Ambassador for Peace medal at the event.
