City of Windsor to Change Date for Fireworks Display
Due to heavy rain forecast for the 4th of July, the Fire Department has chosen to delay the fireworks display until Saturday July 6th. The Windsor Area Chamber of Commerce has announced “all of the children’s games, the cardboard boat regatta and the kayak races will be held during our Summer Celebration on August 3rd.” Schedule of events will be posted next week.

The Sedalia Police Department sent out a reminder ahead of the 4th of July that discharging fireworks within the city limits without a permit is illegal. Additionally, they warned residents not to bring fireworks to the Sedalia Parks & Recreation fireworks show at the Missouri State Fairgrounds on July 4.
