Simpson Sails To First Sprint Car Win At I-35!
Winston, Missouri (July 6th, 2024)….. Kobe Simpson sailed to victory Saturday night at I-35 Speedway to win his first Wholesale Batteries USAC MWRA Sprint Car feature, and his first ever sprint main event over (Topeka, Kan.) Wyatt Burks, (Independence, Mo.) Dakota Earls, (Gladstone, Mo.) Chad Winfrey, and (Camden, Mo.)Michael Moore completing the top five respectively. While Junior Parkinson, (Wichita Falls, Tex.) Tyler Burton, (Independence, Mo.) and Kyle Gorham, (Blue Springs, Mo.) took positions sixth thru eighth. With Zach Clark, (Raymore, Mo.) second heat winner, as well as Luke Howard, (Overland Park, Kan) unable to make the starting grid for the feature do to motor problems after the heat races.
Missouri woman air-lifted to hospital after mini bike accident
DAVIESS COUNTY—A Missouri woman was injured in an accident just after 3p.m. Saturday in Daviess County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Massimo Warrior 200 mini bike driven by Jennifer A. Reynolds, 34,Chillicothe, was traveling on private property at 18,595 285th Street three miles northwest of Jamesport. The vehicle overturned.

Wyoming man airlifted to hospital after Highway 36 crash
A Cheyenne, Wyoming man sustained serious injuries in an accident early Sunday morning, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at approximately 4:35 a.m. on July 7, 2024, five miles east of Hamilton on Highway 36. Corporal J.J. Thompson reported that Chance M. Summers, 33, was driving a 2008 Ford F250 westbound when his vehicle traveled off the south side of the roadway. Summers overcorrected, causing the vehicle to return to the roadway, then travel off the north side and overturn. The Ford F250 came to rest on its top facing northeast.
